About

My photo
This blog is a culmination of two forever-bakers who have spent countless hours reading about, thinking about, and dreaming about baking delicious treats in our spare time. After taking a few cake decorating classes, our interest has soared to no end. While living and working in the same city has been a sweet treat in itself, a move across the state has spawned the desire to keep in touch by taking our love of baking and everything kitchen to the next level. So wipe your feet on the mat and stay awhile!

Tis the Season......

With the holidays so close that we can taste the egg nog and hear the carolers everyone's minds are caught up in finding that perfect gift. If you've got a baker in your house here are a couple of links to some super cute products sure to make anyone smile brought to you by Oliver the elf.

First we'll start off with these adorable cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma. Now my Grandma has a saying, "If it takes longer to make then it does to eat, then it's not worth it.", so I don't have those sweet memories of baking up a batch of sugar cookies and decorating them with red hot eyes and buttercream buttons. However, I'm sure there are those of you who have those memories of making sugar cookies in Grandma's kitchen and who can truly appreciate the sweetness of this gift.

If you haven't heard of the website "Bake It Pretty" You need to get on the ball! They sell all kinds of adorable cupcake and cake decorating supplies, from pans to toppers, even boxes to package them all up in. One of the best things on the website are these Cupcake Kits. They give you all kinds of cute ideas for different events (baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, etc.). Here is one for a princess party that is just so sweet you'll want to throw on a tiara and join in the fun.

Lastly, we visit the website of Jessie Steele. She makes the absolute best, most stylish aprons. I should know, I own one... They come in all kinds of patterns and styles, so they can fit really any chef or baker that you know. My favorite is the black damask apron shown below.

Hope this helps you find that perfect gift for Christmas this year! Happy Shopping!
