About

My photo
This blog is a culmination of two forever-bakers who have spent countless hours reading about, thinking about, and dreaming about baking delicious treats in our spare time. After taking a few cake decorating classes, our interest has soared to no end. While living and working in the same city has been a sweet treat in itself, a move across the state has spawned the desire to keep in touch by taking our love of baking and everything kitchen to the next level. So wipe your feet on the mat and stay awhile!

Wednesday Wishes: IKEA

Let me count the ways that I love IKEA.

1) Cheap
2) Modern
3) Fun sounding product names
4) Did I already mention cheap??

Below are a couple of goodies IKEA has for the kitchen.

TRIPP Storage tin with lid, set of 3, white, black Length: 5 " Width: 3 " Height: 7 " Length: 12 cm Width: 8 cm Height: 18 cm
First up are these super cute tin containers called Tripp storage tin.  Since they're black and white they could go with any decor, and since they're tin you could even use them as gift containers for the treats you bake up.
SOCKERKAKA Baking mat and knife, light blue
Next up is this Sockerkaka baking mat (I swear I didn't make that up).  Look at the fun shapes and drawings on it!  Would be great for anyone trying to get their kids involved in baking.
SLIPAD Knife block with 5 knives, multicolor Length: 11 " Width: 4 " Height: 11 " Length: 28 cm Width: 9 cm Height: 28 cm
Lastly, is this super colorful super fun Slipad Knife block.  With all those colors it's like a little piece of art in your kitchen, a very sharp and dangerous piece of art.
