This blog is a culmination of two forever-bakers who have spent countless hours reading about, thinking about, and dreaming about baking delicious treats in our spare time. After taking a few cake decorating classes, our interest has soared to no end. While living and working in the same city has been a sweet treat in itself, a move across the state has spawned the desire to keep in touch by taking our love of baking and everything kitchen to the next level. So wipe your feet on the mat and stay awhile!

Buttery Brioche

This bread doesn't have crazy ingredients and really the steps for it are very simple if you just take a glance at them, but the time it takes to make it really will blow your mind.  That being said, if you love soft and buttery bread then it is totally worth it.  Better than that if you make the full recipe (which Dorie Greenspan says you should...so you definitely should) it makes enough dough for two loaves OR a loaf AND honey buns.  Buttery, gooey, sticky, honey buns.  So good. I've linked to another website with the ingredients and directions because honestly I just don't have enough patience to type it all out.  I will say that the hardest part is being patient enough to wait for the butter to be incorporated, so make sure you pull up a magazine and get ready to sit for a litle bit!
