This blog is a culmination of two forever-bakers who have spent countless hours reading about, thinking about, and dreaming about baking delicious treats in our spare time. After taking a few cake decorating classes, our interest has soared to no end. While living and working in the same city has been a sweet treat in itself, a move across the state has spawned the desire to keep in touch by taking our love of baking and everything kitchen to the next level. So wipe your feet on the mat and stay awhile!

Baked Sunday Mornings: Cowboy Cookies, Thin Style

This week we're baking up Cowboy Cookies over at Baked Sunday Mornings.  These cookies have lots of goodies...chocolate chips, oats, and pretzels (which I especially loved).  In the book, the boys make a note that they decided not to put any nuts in the recipe for one reason or another.  I think I would have thrown in a couple of walnuts in the cookies myself, but these were still delicious nonetheless.  I wasn't intentionally trying to make the thin variety, but that's what I got, and I'm not complaining!  Yum!

Check  out the other member's cookies at the Baked blog!

I loved these, too! I resisted the urge to throw nuts in, but they were great without them. Enjoy your day!

We loved them too; I threw in BBQ chips, but definitely think they would be great with nuts!

There was just so much to love about this recipe, but I also had to fight the urge to throw in nuts! I still liked them without!

I desperately wanted to add nuts. Glad you enjoyed these.
