This blog is a culmination of two forever-bakers who have spent countless hours reading about, thinking about, and dreaming about baking delicious treats in our spare time. After taking a few cake decorating classes, our interest has soared to no end. While living and working in the same city has been a sweet treat in itself, a move across the state has spawned the desire to keep in touch by taking our love of baking and everything kitchen to the next level. So wipe your feet on the mat and stay awhile!

Baked Sunday Mornings: Double Chocolate Loaf with Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Spread

Wow! That title is a mouthful. And so is this double chocolate loaf. I have to say, this has been my favorite recipe so far from the Baked Explorations book. Or maybe it was the Sweet and Salty Brownie. Maybe I have a chocolate obsession.

I mixed it up this time and made mini loaves instead of one big loaf. There is only so much one girl can eat. The loaf has cocoa AND chocolate chunks running through it, and I'm just fine with that. Let's not forget the spread that goes along with this. It's. divine. It creates a perfect companion to this loaf. I'll be making this again for sure. Head over to the Baked blog if you want the recipe!

Yes, divine is an appropriate term for how good this loaf really is. This has already become a regular recipe at my house...my kids are baking it, the grandkids are eating the peanut butter spread before I can use it on the loaves, etc...it is a good!
