Wednesday Wishes: Retro Baking

My mom recently gave me a box of old Christmas things to go through.  In it I found these little gems:

I'm not entirely sure what we used these adorable trees and little deer for, but I'm thinking they would look pretty darn cute atop a cupcake or two.  Lucky for all of us, Layer Cake Shop has these throw-back toppers and more.  Here are a few of my favorites:

These are a modern version of my trees above.  Incredible.
